Recently, the beautiful church building in Wicken Bonhunt has been extended, redecorated and equipped so that the building can be used as a hall for a wide range of activities and functions The space is extremely versatile and well equipped:


church pews can be stacked against the side or positioned within the hall to suit the occasion.

folding chairs, tables and display panels can be set out as required


the kitchen is fully equipped and there is an ample supply of crockery, glassware and cutlery for light refreshments and dinners.


Depending on layout, the Centre can easily accommodate 100 – 120 people and can comfortably seat up to 60 people at tables.


The Centre is regularly used as the venue for a number of local clubs and events – see the Village Photo section of the website for some examples.


When not required for church or local events, the Centre can be hired by individuals or organisations for private functions or public events. Hirers are asked to limit maximum numbers to 150 people.

  • 16 moveable pews (normally stacked along side of hall)
  • 8 large tables (72ins x 30ins)
  • 8 small tables (34ins x 34ins)

Kitchen – fully equipped with fridge/freezer, 4 burner gas hob, 2 double electric ovens, urn, 2 large kettles, crockery, glassware and cutlery


2 toilets one designed for disability access and baby changing arrangements.


NOTE the Centre is in the main church building and there are therefore items of church furniture and decoration, some fixed, which should be treated with care and respect.


Tables and chairs can also be hired for use away from the Centre, when not required in the hall.
